When writing 'Backyard Boom' I wanted to try and create a piece that used only the first 5 notes you learn when starting your instrument. I also wanted to try and create a piece that newer musicians could play. This song is what came of that. Backyard Boom is a fun, quirky, and catchy song that features all students playing with each other or with other sections. The piece also includes a quiet section that helps build up into the last half of the song. Not only is there a lot to learn from this song, but after your students play this it might be hard getting it out of their head!
 
This piece also comes with a separate rehearsal part so your students can learn all the parts together at once!
